Flat Grace and Flat Aidan go to San Diego, CA to see Aunt Liz!!

They had a great time visiting there Aunt Liz, they went to work with her at West Wireless Health.

Flat Grace and Flat Aidan just went to GA!!

Dear Grace and Aidan:

 

     Flat Grace and Flat Aidan went to the Pre K class
of Ms. Melissa Osteen at Sandhills Elementary School. They also met the
Principal, Ms. Kristen Richards.....they were not bad, they just wanted to meet
her!!!

 

   They were PERFECTLY dressed for the weather here in
Effingham County, just outside Savannah, GA. It is warm here now.  They spent
the morning with the preK class while I worked with kids with autism.  They were
both VERY well behaved and the principal said they could come back
anytime.

 

   This school and the county are about 370 miles from
where you live.  We are very near the beach, but it is too cold to go there
yet.

Who is Flat Stanley? What are Grace and Aidan doing?

Grace and Aidan have read a funny book called Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown. The book is about a young boy named Stanley who is accidentally squished "as flat as a pancake" when a bulletin board falls on him. Stanley is very, very flat but otherwise fine. The story goes on to tell how Stanley discovers some real advantages to being flat. He can slide under doors, go down into sidewalk grates, and even fold himself up small enough to fit into an envelope and be mailed to California for an exciting vacation.

We are sending out plain paper dolls that we call FLAT GRACE AND FLAT AIDAN, and we are sending them off to visit cities all over America and the WORLD. I hope you be a host and teach Grace and Aidan  something about your city and the exciting things FLAT Grace and Aidan  saw or did while he was there. We would also appreciate it if you could let us know approximately how far your city is from mine ( Johnson City TN) so that we can calculate the number of miles FLAT Grace and Aidan  has traveled. Of course, FLAT GRACE AND AIDAN would also appreciate it if you could "dress" them to reflect the season you are in, or an activity that they  did, or other clothing that would tell us more about where you live.You can particpate via email or we can mail it you, and you mail it back.  I will email you Flat Grace and Flat Aidan for you to print, and then you take photos and write a letter and email it back to us. If you like to particpate please let us know!!
